The Committee on Judiciary moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for Senate Bill 119—A Bill to amend and reenact §3-5-7 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to creating an online voters’ guide regarding candidates for certain offices; requiring candidates for elections occurring in 2022 and thereafter to provide certain information in a certificate of announcement; and requiring all information in a candidate’s certificate of announcement to be published in the online voters’ guide on the Secretary of State’s website prior to elections occurring in 2022 and thereafter.
